Northwest Little League’s registration for the Spring 2019 season, including the Class A, AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate, Junior and Seniors divisions, is now open! Please register as soon as possible, as space is limited. Registration fees will increase by $35 per player on January 6th and we will close divisions on a rolling basis once they reach capacity. Individual registrations after the February 1 and 15 deadlines will increase by $50.

Please note that the registration system will default to the division corresponding with your child’s 2019 league age as defined by Little League International.
To enquire about "playing up" or “playing down,” please note this preference in the comments section of your child’s registration. Players who play up will need approval from the division commissioner and your child’s previous season’s coach. Please consider carefully if your child is ready to play at the higher level. Requests to “play down” will also be approved at the discretion of the commissioners in consolation with the child’s previous coach.
Tryouts are required for all spring AAA and Majors players to promote competitive balance between teams. All in-boundary, age-appropriate boys and girls who try out will be placed on a team regardless of experience or skill level (i.e., no one will be “cut”). Spring tryouts for AAA and Majors registrants will occur on February 9, 2019 (between 8am and 5pm) at Stoddert Elementary School Gym (4001 Calvert St NW, Washington, DC 20007). A reminder and specific time slots will go out in early February, but please save that date in the meantime.

All coaches and volunteers must register in the system to take part in the season. There is no cost involved but will require completion of the online Concussion Certification (good for two years) and annual background check.
