NWLL Summer Skills Clinics
Operated By Home Run Baseball!Updated Tuesday May 8, 2018 by Paul McKay.
Each summer, NWLL operates a recreational baseball program for boys and girls ages 7-12, offering them the opportunity to continue to play, improve, and enjoy the game between the competitive spring and fall seasons. The program consists of skills clinics every Monday and Wednesday evening followed by “sandlot” games every Friday evening. The Friday sandlot games feature pickup-style games involving all ages, with coaches and umpires.
We’re excited to announce that the skills clinics will again be operated by Home Run Baseball, Washington’s renowned baseball camp. Here’s a special message to the NWLL community from Home’s Run’s John McCarthy (“Coach Mac” to many of you!):
"We are happy to be working with Northwest Washington Little League in providing our summer evening clinics. Players can expect experienced and motivating coaches, a zero negativity atmosphere and full hustle. We will primarily focus on fielding, throwing and hitting. Players should come ready to give full effort focusing on technical proficiency and volume drills."
